Herriman • The Davis High School girls' soccer team almost let a game get away earlier in the 6A state tournament.It was the first round against American Fork. The Darts took an early lead, gave up two consecutive goals, forced overtime, and battled to a 3-2 victory. That win, the team feels, marked the turning point of the tournament.'That was the game where we really realized we had a chance to win the whole thing,' Davis junior Kayla Wade said.And then they went and did it.The Darts beat Farmington High School 1-0 and took the 6A state title on Friday at Zions Bank Stadium.
